Beta terms

Effective October 24, 2026

These terms cover DNA’s private beta: the Mac app, your account, and DNA’s server. DNA is run during the beta by Narasimha Teja Reddy (“I”, “DNA”). By signing in you accept them, along with the privacy policy.

Who can use DNA

You must be 18 or older. During the beta DNA is invite-only: an invite is for you, and your account is for your own use.

It is a beta

DNA is unfinished. Features may change, break or go away, and the beta may end. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copies of your footage and anything you make.

Your content is yours

Your footage and the videos DNA edits for you belong to you. DNA does not claim them and does not use them to train AI models. You need the right to use what you import, including any reference video whose editing style you ask DNA to learn: DNA keeps measurements of a reference’s style, never the video itself, and you are responsible for what you post.

AI makes mistakes

DNA’s edits are made with AI. They can be wrong: cut in the wrong place, mis-transcribe a word, or miss what you meant. Watch an edit before you post it.

Credits

Cloud steps use credits. Beta credits are free, have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and do not expire during the beta. DNA may change how many credits a step uses; your usage is listed in the dashboard.

Fair use

Don’t use DNA to:

  • break the law or anyone’s rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • make content that harasses, deceives or harms people;
  • probe, overload or work around DNA’s server, its limits or its credits, or use it as a general AI service.

DNA may limit or end an account that does, and may end the beta for anyone.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, DNA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost footage, posts, followers or income, and its total liability to you is limited to 100 US dollars.

Changes
